Mel Weekend 2014

And yet another successful Meliora Weekend, welcoming back brothers and their families to the Alpha Zeta chapter house. Specifically, it was nice to see so many brothers come back to campus to celebrate their tenth and 25th reunion alongside their pledge brothers.

Our reception on Saturday, October 18th ran smoothly, allowing our alumni to see all that has been accomplished since last Mel Weekend. A special thank you to Edmund Hajim (’58), Bob Witmer (’59) for speaking at our event, and our chapter advisor Mike DeMarco (’87) for not only speaking, but also helping in its orchestration.

Thank you to our alumni for their continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you all back again over Mel Weekend 2015!

Below are some pictures from the weekend:

Big and Little Travis Tallerico (’13) and Adam Cushmaro (’15) talk over all of the recent house infrastructural changes.

Vice President Ervis Vukaj thanks Ed Hajim for coming back to his former home to impart some wisdom on the current brotherhood.

Bob Witmer addresses both current brothers and alumni of the eternality of the Alpha Zeta chapter, where, even with some bumps in the road of our fraternity’s past, we continue to maintain a positive presence on campus.

President Booky Pora and Vice President Vukaj present on what has been accomplished by the brothers since last year.

Brothers Mike DeMarco (’87) and William “Bill” Schatten (’89) stand outside of Room 1, dedicated by Bill over the weekend to the brothers of the graduating class of 1989.
